The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is actually alarmed in regards to the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no status sassa totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The services point created for intervention experiences a high influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
